A seasonal retreat by Yoga with Alex at tranquil Damson Hill Cottage, Upper Swanmore.
Join Alex for a nourishing day of movement, creativity, and connection with nature, honouring the turning of the seasons at the Spring Equinox. Together, we’ll pause to breathe, walk gently on the land, and create space for authentic expression through guided journaling. This retreat is designed to clear the mind, inspire the heart, and help you step into the energy of balance and renewal that spring brings.
No previous experience is required in yoga or writing — simply come with curiosity and an open heart.
What to Expect

Retreat Itinerary
9:30am – Welcome. Arrive to a warm drink, settle into the space, and set personal intentions for the day.
10:00 – 11:30am – Morning Yoga Asana. A gentle, flowing practice to open the body, connect with the breath, and welcome in spring energy.
12:00 – 1:00pm – Lunch. A nourishing, plant-based lunch with time to enjoy the peaceful grounds.
1:00 – 1:45pm – Forest Bathing & Nature Walk. A mindful walk through the woods at Damson Hill, opening the senses and finding inspiration in the beauty of early spring. Gentle foraging and quiet moments of reflection will prepare the mind for creative expression.
1:45 – 3:15pm – Guided Creative Journaling or Drawing Workshop. Drawing on inspiration from the morning walk, Alex will guide you through gentle prompts to explore authenticity, renewal, and balance. Time for reflective writing and optional sharing in circle.
3:30 – 4:30pm – Restorative Yoga & Breathwork. A slow, grounding practice with breath awareness and yin-inspired postures to integrate the day and plant seeds of intention for the season ahead.
4:30pm – Closing Circle. Gather in community, reflect, and carry forward your intentions into spring.
